SPECIAL COUNSEL (1) was an impressive winner at Pinjarra last time out, scoring by 1.4L when rounding them up from the second half of the field. Cooper rides now claiming 2kg, but this looks to shape similarly and he looks to have plenty of upside. Can repeat the dose. DOMINANT FORCE (4) missed by 1.9L two back before a 4.5L defeat last time out over 1409m. Up in trip now looks a good move for her now and she looks ready to bounce back to her best form. WHO TOLD KAYLA (8) turned in a better performance last start when changing tactics to settle on pace. That worked well for her and she carries no weight again today from an inside draw. Will give them something to catch. RELIABLE IMAGE (6) is better than she showed last time out and can put her best foot forward. TAKE A LEAF (5) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Special Counsel looks the one to beat.
