Little early speed on offer so Funky Boy should be prominent. PREMIUM BOY (6) was solid on debut when finishing off strongly from a midfield position, beaten 1.5L. He jumped a $3.60 chance there and lost no admirers. Draws well again today and with the debut under his belt, he can go to the next level now. MIND FIELD (8) trialled well leading into his debut where he was just fair, but he looks to be in good order judging by his trials this time in work. Brad Parnham's booking is a good push for his chances and if he can run up to what he's shown at the trials, he'll be hard to hold out. I'M ALL THE FUNK (9) is better than she showed last time out at Albany. Still has some upside and with a good barrier, she can put her best foot forward. FOREVER ELITE (11) is third-up now and can improve stepping up in trip. GREAT RECEPTION (4) disappointed fresh but his trials suggested he was going better than he showed there. Can improve out in trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Premium Boy can get the job done here.
