Genuine tempo with the speedy Saddle leading the way. STEEL WILL (9) came from well back on the bend and hit the line strongly to score over 1600m at Kawasaki last time out. Wada Joji sticks. Bold showing expected. JOY SEVEN (5) broke through for his maiden win over 1600m at this track last time. Shaping up nicely and he is a solid top-three hope. SADDLE (6) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and led for much of the way before fading to finish fourth, beaten 1.4 lengths, over 1600m at Kawasaki. Will give a sight again. PEPTIDE MOGAMI (7) has not appeared since he finished ninth over 1800m at this track on February 12. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
