Solid tempo anticipated with Yandy Blue heading them off. BOOKENDS (8) trialled well leading into her debut and was good in defeat, only 1.9L off the winner at Pinjarra. She draws much better here for Pike and the rise in trip won't be an issue. Looks well placed with improvement likely and she can get the job done. OLAF THE SNOWMAN (3) showed glimpses in his debut campaign when rattling home from well back at Belmont before the break. His trial coming into this was good and he finally draws a softer barrier today. Can get the job done. RARE HONOR (1) comes back to this trip off a freshen after running over 2000m last time out. He has some good runs around this distance range prior and he's not to be discounted. YANDY BLUE (2) is racing well despite starting at big prices and can give himself every chance from on the speed. RAYLANA (5) can make an impression first-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bookends goes on top.
