Solid tempo with Shotgun leading from Ariel and Night Purosangue. SHOTGUN (8) won comfortably two back before sitting on the speed again last time out when beaten 1.8L on the turf course over 1400m. Different scenario here, though he rates highly on the back of that effort and he can find the front from an inside draw. Leading contender. SUPREME AGILITY (1) flew home over this course and distance last time out after sitting wide and with cover throughout. Likely to get back in the run again this time but should be fitter for the fresh effort. Goes well over this track and trip and can make an impression. CALIFORNIA STAR (4) disappointed last start when jumping favourite over 1800m after a few strong performances over this distance prior. Back to his preferred trip now and Purton remains in the saddle. Needs some luck from the draw but he can be flying late in the race. SHANGHAI STYLE (5) has to be included on the back of his latest effort.
