Moderate tempo with Cantilever leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. MANGIFERA (10) finished off well last start to be in the placings again in a Saturday race at Ascot and turned in a strong figure for this event. She looks to get plenty in her favour here from a good draw and coming back in trip is no issue. Can get back to winning ways. SOUTHLAND (8) was far too good here on resumption when rounding up his rivals with ease as the odds-on favourite. He'll need some luck from the barrier, but he looks a very progressive type on the rise. This is his toughest test to date, but it wouldn't surprise to see him pass it with flying colours. CANTILEVER (2) returned to winning ways over the mile here 10 days ago when on the quick turnaround. Catarino's claim comes in handy and he boasts a good record at this track and trip. Not to be discounted. ZORBRIST (9) is better than he showed last time out and he can put his best foot forward. TIFF'S LAD (6) can play a leading role on resumption. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mangifera can win the Abrolhos Plate.
