Good speed anticipated with a large number of first starters lining up. The Black Opal preview. PERLE DE CHOCOLAT (13) resumes and was last seen beaten 2.6L in the Group 3 Gimcrack Stakes on debut. She's been fitted with a Randwick trial win and maps for the run of the race. Sets a decent standard. FARCITED (3) debuts and is also in a smart 2yo barn. He was an expensive yearling and presents off three tidy trials. Hyeronimus sticks from those and he's likely to run him along. SASSY ABBEY (14) debuts for an in-form stable and has trialled well. Has to be considered. Ditto STEEL KNIGHT (15) who led here delivering an Open 2 here at the last meeting when heavily supported. Has an awkward gate today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Perle De Chocolat appeals on what we've seen.
