Expecting Silver Stella to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. M O APPLAUSE (16) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 65 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 1200m at this track. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. FLORIDA FOUNTAIN (14) turned in a fine effort to win by 0.8 lengths at today's track and distance last start in a far better run. Must raise the bar but she has the talent to test this line-up. SILVER STELLA (5) did well to score at this track two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when in contention on the corner before finishing second over 1200m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths. Meets some better types this time but a big run is on the cards. TATSUNO KISEKI (7) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 12 when beaten 4 lengths into fifth at this track over 1200m. Could get into the minors.
