Lots of speed predominantly from Meiner Faucon, Sparkle Joy and Mill Minerva. A race of few chances. MILL MINERVA (1) is a progressive three-year-old filly who resumes from a break of 12 weeks, her last appearance being a win over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt at her only run of that campaign. Has the speed to be prominent and looks a bit better than these. ITSUMO NIKONIKO (2) returned from a spell six days ago when she was in the firing line on the bend before being beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh over 1400m at Chukyo. Strips fitter and can feature. G T NOBLE (13) is yet to break through in four runs. Finished sixth at her last appearance over 1400m at Niigata on August 18. Solid top-three chance on her best figures. SPARKLE JOY (7) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1000m at Sapporo Dirt, beaten 5.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
