A number are capable of pushing on to lead a moderate tempo. A tough race to finish the programme. COLD ONE (2) won a CL1 at Lismore by a space over this trip and then didn't have the best of it placing as the favourite at Ipswich behind a dominant winner. He has to push forward from a wide barrier but can bounce back with average luck. NIPPA'S NIGHTCAP (3) resumed a distant second in the same contest. He also draws awkwardly but has plenty up his sleeve and has decent claims. PARIS AFFAIR (5) has switched from a Victorian yard on a 47-day return. He's in good hands and is certainly good enough. The gate is against but he's trialled well and the betting will be key. ROCKIN' ARTIE (4) maps well and has a handy 2kg claim. He's much better than the immediate form suggests and consider coming back to a sprint. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Cold One.
