No noted leader so it looks a very modest tempo. DESERT NYMPH (2) continues to race the bar, winning by 0.4L in tougher company last start and posting a high rating in doing so. On the quick turnaround today, but back in grade and she has enough early speed to offset the sticky barrier. Finds a nice race again and can bring up her fourth win in-a-row. BRAVE STRIKE (4) just missed over 1300m here 17 days ago to continue her strong run of form. Out to 1400m again today but that doesn't appear an issue judging by her latest effort. Maps for a cosy run in transit and it wouldn't surprise to see her go one better. CRUISE TO VICTORY (7) disappointed last start following a strong win over this course and distance two back. He ticks plenty of boxes today with the winkers going on and dropping plenty of weight. Can return to winning form. HONEY DEW (6) wasn't beaten far last start and has claims with that form already being franked. PLAYHOUSE PATRON (1) has claims dropping back in trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Desert Nymph can win again.
