Expecting a slick tempo with Mohandas, Etoilefillante and Kwite A King leading the way. MOHANDAS (1) stayed on well at the finish over 2000m last time but found one too good on the day. He has finished second twice and third once from as many starts on this course. He has drawn pole position and can go one better. IGNATIUS (7) stayed on well to finish fourth of 10 over 1600m on this course last time out. He takes a slight drop in class and with Richard Fourie in the saddle he should be fighting out the finish. SUDDEN SONG (10) ran home well when winning his last start over this distance. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He is drawn wide in barrier 10 but Luyolo Mxothwa knows him well and he should give him all the necessary assistance needed from the saddle. KWITE A KING (3) resumes from a spell after having won his only start last prep over 1950m at Kenilworth. Fresh-up jumping from an inside gate has to be respected.
