Genuine pace with Elliotto taking up the running ahead of Hard Leaf and Following Sea. Competitive. FASHIZLEMANIZLE (8) got too far back over 1400m at Oakbank in a 62 but had been narrowly beaten there prior in a CL1 over shorter. Peaks for this and is much better placed. Finds a winnable assignment. FIORENTE RULES (2) stalked the pace before drawing clear to score by 0.7 lengths over 1600m at Penola. Has won over this trip at Mt Gambier prior, and from an inside barrier can figure in the finish again. HARD LEAF (6) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 1400m at Oakbank. Was a big winner this grade/trip there prior and the on-pacer will get every chance to bounce back. ELLIOTTO (5) was a comfortable winner here and then might not have appreciated a wet track at Murray Bridge. Keeps a leading hoop and comes back in grade and distance. A chance. HASTA LA ORIENTAL (4) won his only second-up outing and has to be kept onside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fashizlemanizle appeals most.
