GREENANDGOLD (8) could only manage fourth on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at Vaal, beaten 3.5 lengths. Close to a win. Should be right in the finish. PURPLE RAIN (10) was unplaced on debut then much improved run second outing and has further upside. Genuine contender in this suitable contest. MASTER'S ROSE (5) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of three months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1600m at Vaal. Commenced last prep with a minor placing at this track over 1400m. Among the chances while fresh. MISS RIVER DANCER (9) is a promising type who was in the placings on debut before a fourth last time over 1200m at Turffontein Inside. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Should give backers a sight.
