PERCUSSION PRINCE (6) looked set to run well here over this trip, but settled too far back and had no luck after. Pike has been aboard his last two and stays with him. Peaks for this and he can sit closer today. Worth another chance. KHUTOS (4) spiked his figures narrowly beaten here second-up. Draws inside and Chris Parnham rides today. Fitter and rates to get into the finish. HIGH COMMISSION (2) resumes for the top barn and kicking off over a mile won't be an issue. He's raced well in stronger races and placed in a recent trial with Pike aboard. He will give away a start but the 3kg claim brings him into it. CHEROKEE MISS (3) started here at long odds in stronger and did a good job beaten 2.2L after settling at the back half of the field. The grade suits and she will be around the mark holding that form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Percussion Prince.
