Good early pressure with Girly Pop or Maurita likely to take up the running. FULMEN FILOU (18) just under a month between runs and now in the Robert Knight stable. Fifth up for this and his best form is over the mile. Struggled to run the trip out when eleventh over 2221m at Seymour. Finally drawn a low gate and the lugging bit goes on. Sharp improvement expected. REDADEL (12) mixing his form in two runs for the new yard. Came up from Victoria when resuming with an even second two back at Port Macquarie. Failed to back that up when eighth over 1400m at Taree. Gets nice weight relief for this and maps well. GIRLY POP (15) came out fast from the wide gate and knocked up late when a tiring eighth over 1600m at Quirindi. Was a month between runs second up and further improvement is expected with the claim. Value player. TALAKAI (7) consistent mare with excellent place credentials. Comes to hand quickly as was evident with her tough on pace third over 1400m at Gatton on resumption. Her best form is over the mile and can take a hand in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 18,12,15,7.
