Tricky one to map with a number of first starters but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. WILD APPLAUSE (1) should have finished closer to the winner last time as she hung in the final 300m. She finished under a length behind the winner over this distance in her penultimate run. Muzi Yeni retains the ride and if putting her mind on the task at hand, she should find herself in the winner's enclosure. STAR OF ELENA (11) made the expected natural improvement when second over 1400m on the polytrack last time. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. She is a progressive type and rates highly. DANCING IN WINTER (5) was outrun late when second over 1400m last time. She has finished third twice from three starts over this course and distance. Well worth an each-way ticket. MIDNIGHT MUSIC (3) will strip fitter after two runs this time in work. Finished fifth last start over 1400m at Fairview All Weather, an improvement on the first-up performance. Can place.
