Strong pace with Brazenly, Night Flash and Zoubelle paving the way. BREECHES (4) struggled on debut at Mornington behind a very speedy type and was tipped out. She's been jumping out beautifully in preparation for this and could well be a different horse this time around. NIGHT FLASH (9) resumes having shown ability in two runs last time in, third on debut before tackling the Geelong Diamond. This looks a suitable race and he's been jumping out well. SILENT SHARES (6) resumes having run third on debut at Moe. She's another with good jumpout form who has claims. ZOUBELLE (7) has a bit of race fitness on her side, good on resumption at Pakenham when just fading late. Will be in this for a long way. MYSTICAL GEM (5) is a filly by Shalaa on debut who can run well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Breeches to win.
