From wide out Happy Gate can slide over and set up a genuine tempo. TSURUMARU GEKKO (7) travelled just behind the leader before taking over and scoring a determined win by a neck over 1200m here last time. Has two wins from four starts at this circuit. Right in this. KASENO TIGER (4) was safely held when 11th last time out over 1800m at this track, beaten 57 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. HAPPY GATE (12) fought on for second last start over 1400m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Should be prominent despite the awkward gate. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is one of the key runners. NAC SIRIUS (8) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 4 lengths back in fourth over 1400m at this track. Cannot be underestimated.
