STING IN THE TAIL (4) racing in career best form and just failed to make it two straight when a narrow second to the handy Smart Legend over 1900m here. Gets the fast tempo tonight and look for her finishing over the top of these with Rawiller engaged. SURPRISE VALLEY (6) two runs back have been encouraging and stretches out to the 1900m for the first time. Drifted back further than intended when catching the eye to run third over 1550m here. Maps to get the right run and expected to figure in the money. MALABAR (2) comes here in peak condition and has good figures over this course and distance. Not far away at the latest and stays in the mix. PRESLEY (8) returned from a lengthy break when boxed on for a close up fourth over 1600m at Canberra. Comes to hand quickly and the extra distance is in his favour. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sting In The Tail to win.
