Discovered Gold is expected to lead at a strong tempo. Genuine mare DISCOVERED GOLD (3) kept her 100% top-three record intact last start when she led but found one better over 1200m at Rockhampton. Freshened up and more suitably placed back to this trip. Sure to prove tough to catch. ME TIME (6) is a bit hard to follow but has talent. Returned from a six-week break with a plain fourth over this distance at Rockhampton last time out. Strips fitter and draws a far better gate so give her another chance. QUEENSLANDER (5) was only 2.2 lengths away in a Class 6 at Bowen most recently. In the mix coming back in grade. MOON OVER MATILDA (7) resumes. Will be better for this run but from the inside gate she might sneak into the numbers. The rest look no hope, with ROCKET POWER (8) the best of that bunch. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Discovered Gold.
