Speed should be right on over the 1000m journey. MRS ARCHIBALD (8) has won her past two, both over 1000m, leading throughout at this track last time out. She can take a sit just behind the pace from the soft gate here and prove competitive again. VIASAIN (2) resumed with a soft win at Pakenham in an easier race over this trip as favourite, scoring by 1.75 lengths. He's come back well and could measure up. HEDONIST (1) resumes. He showed plenty of ability in a six-run maiden campaign, measuring up against some handy gallopers. He's right in the each-way mix. DAELLA (13) has upside and can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mrs Archibald to win.
