Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Lux Rebellion. FOR DURAN (3) improved sharply on his sixth two starts back at Morioka Dirt with success over 1400m at Morioka Dirt three weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to feature in the finish again. ALL IS TRUE (5) ran below expectations last time at Morioka Dirt, finishing seventh and beaten 8 lengths starting at $5.10. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. ULTIMA BOSS (7) could only manage 12th two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a major role. NISHINO BRYANT (10) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1600m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 3 lengths. Finds a suitable race and should be about the mark.
