HERTZ MELTON PACE 1720m

Track: GOOD

BULLETPROOF KID (10) had been racing well with a string of placings before delivering a well-deserved win at Cranbourne last start, leading to get home by 1.4m. Cops a tougher draw on the back row but is racing well enough to overcome that. DANCINGONSTARLIGHT (5) came from a similar draw to this when scoring in her latest outing at Cranbourne, getting home by 5m. Big chance to back that up. BETTES BLUE VIOLET (3) made an encouraging return after five months when coming from wider for a 3m third at Ballarat. Proven second-up and draws well so can progress. BREATHE EASY (4) was far from disgraced after racing three wide without cover last start and has claims after coming from a wider draw to place here two back. UP AND ABOUT (8) hasn't been far away in two outruns since a spell and is building fitness.
