The one to beat from an ideal draw. SAINT EMILION (10) finished fifth at Menangle two runs ago before a comparable effort at his latest appearance over 1730m at Bathurst, beaten 10 metres. May just need a bit of luck at some point from this difficult draw. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of taking this out. BETTOR KEPPEL (7) disappointed last time when ninth over 1609m at Menangle. Can turn things around. PAS DE CHEVAL (9) cane race well fresh.
