HEZATREACHEROUS (10) comes through the Gold Chalice series at Bathurst where he placed in a heat before suffering the thumps last start. Has won a trial since so looks back on track and is nicley placed. LONGNWINDINGROAD (9) finished sixth last start over 2160m at Narrabri, beaten 8 metres, after a strong win at this track the run prior. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. PAYTONS ROCK (2) ended last prep with a seventh at this circuit over 1609m four months ago. Can open this campaign with a much more positive effort. MCCRIKEY (6) has claims off a win two back.
