Genuine tempo with Crimson Decipher leading the way. QUERIDA (11) led for the judge but failed to run out a strong 1200m at the Sunshine Coast last start. Has changed stables since that outing. Will find this class a lot easier so back to this trip she looks the testing material. ZELEZNY (4) returned from a ten-week spell for new trainer Ricky Vale and did a good job to finish third over 1200m at Rockhampton last time out. Has been given a 52-day let-up since that run but has trialled well in the interim. Expecting him to be highly competitive. MISS COMANECI (9) put the writing on the wall last start when she stuck on well for a close third over 1000m at Townsville. Progressive filly who just needs luck from the wide alley to be in the finish again. PAUL EDWARD (1) is still trying to break through after nineteen starts. Form patchy but he has placed 3/3 at this trip so don't count him out. TORQUE OF DREAMS (6) is a new acquisition for Lachie Manzelmann. Best NSW form stacks up so keep her safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Querida on top.
