ROCKBARTON ANGEL (6) never looked likely first-up but was a big improver last start off a 42-day freshen when charging home from off midfield to be beaten narrowly at Taree. Added trip suits and he should be peaking. Ready. SHOWRUNNER (3) is knocking on the door and should also be hitting his straps now. Bullock sticks for the sharp stable. Obvious threat. EAGLESCLIFFE (2) wasn't far away fresh off a 408-day break and then stuck on gamely into fourth behind a tearaway leader. Strips fitter and can give this a shake. SWING LEFT (5) showed positive signs last start at Walcha when leading them up. Expect him to burn across from the wide alley and give them something to catch.
