QUEEN OF MALWA (8) resumed in good order at Hobart and then went back and impressed from a wide gate beaten 1.3L. Draws handier today and Newitt stays aboard. Fitter and ready to win. VAN SCOTIA (13) is racing well and finds a tough easier. Maps for the run of the race and has been freshened. Pires takes over from the 2kg apprentice. KAKIA (2) raced favourite this track/trip two back beaten 1.3L and reckon his chances on that. OUR INDULGENCE (12) didn't have the best of it at Hobart last time but was good here prior. Needs a good ride but gets in light with the 3kg claim. WHIPPIN PICCADILLY (6) is better than the formline suggests. Keep onside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Queen Of Malwa.
