With no recognised leader engaged it might be left to Nan Bei Qu, Yamanin Epurer and Live Aquamarine to control the tempo. VOGUE NO YAIBA (1) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 4 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. YUKINO MATSUSHIMA (2) hit the frame two starts ago at Morioka Dirt but ran below par last time when eighth and beaten 4.5 lengths over 1000m at Morioka Dirt. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. NAN BEI QU (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when sixth over 1400m at Morioka Dirt three weeks ago after being in the firing line on the corner. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. HABANERO (3) finished 11th at this track and distance at her last appearance three-and-a-half months ago. One to consider.
