He is still reasonably well off at the weights and can complete the hat-trick. WAR TACTICS (3) finished fourth in the same race as the top pick last time out and should settle a touch closer to the pace with the advantage of the pole position. He is better off at the weights this time and can finish closer. Each way. KENTUCKY BLUE (1) has been racing consistently throughout the winter and led for a long way over 1700m at Carnarvon last time out before being run down late, finishing second. He should not be too bothered by the return to 1400m and can have the last say in this. HAWK (5) has been below his best lately in small 4-horse fields but is better than that and is not the worst for a place in this field.
