BUZZ UP BEAT (3) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing second and beaten one length over 1800m at Kokura. Has ability and looks sure to measure up. MALTY FLAVOR (2) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1800m at Niigata when second, beaten 0.8 lengths. Sure to take a lot from that hit-out so she will prove tough to beat. SHONAN CASERTA (5) did a good job to finish third on debut three weeks ago, beaten 2.5 lengths at the end of 1600m at this track. Likely improver so she should be in the finish. The other two have little hope, headed by MEISHO YASHIMA (1) faced the starter for the first time and finished eighth last start at Chukyo Dirt over 1800m, beaten 25 lengths.
