COUPLES RETREAT (4) was excellent on debut in a city maiden and finds a low draw here. Expected to roll forward over a similar trip and give them plenty to chase. Hard to go past. MISS KIM KAR (7) arrives here off two smart trial wins and looks a ready run to product. Genuine chance on debut. OBSCURE (10) found rain affected tracks in a two start debut campaign and has finished close-up in two recent trials. Drawn wide but can progress quickly this time in starting here. BALMORAL (1) strips fitter after a solid interstate debut run and draws a much quieter alley. Expected to improve sharply second up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Couples Retreat win.
