He cops a decent gate this time and won't lack fitness so stick with him. Can win. MORGANITE (7) is part of the powerful Tony Gollan stable and he has been showing a lot of pace in his races so far. He finished fifth at Ipswich last start after leading and with the blinkers on for the first time, he could see it through to the end this time. Each way. KEWELL (2) is slowly building toward his first win and followed up a second-place finish at Dalby in his penultimate start with a good third here last time out. He cops a wide gate but benefits from a 3kg claim and is expected to be thereabouts again. MALECON (1) is a locally trained gelding who has been given plenty of time to mature.
