Not a great deal of early pace evident. SUPER BABY (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when fourth in a 1600m contest on the all-weather three weeks ago. Pinheiro gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. GREAT WARRIOR (2) returns from a short break after a minor placing over 1600m at this track. Kept ticking over subsequently with a trial win. Rates highly and looks a definite winning hope. PACIFIC BAO BEI (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2000m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth after being in the firing line on the turn. Worth noting Wong goes aboard. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. JUNGLE CRUISE (5) was outclassed in the SGG1 Singapore Derby at this track on July 21. Deserves another chance in this company.
