Plenty of early pace from On My Honour and Ardabil, with the added uncertainty surrounding the strong contingent of first starters engaged. ON MY HONOUR (1) produced an encouraging debut effort over 1250m on this course. He was green in running but stayed on well to finish second of 10. He would have come on from the run and he should enjoy the extra distance on offer. From pole position, he should find himself in the winner's enclosure. MR BELVEDERE (4) resumes from a spell which would have done him the world of good. On best form shown he should be fighting out the finish. JOUEUR DE FLUTE (10) found one too good on the day when finishing second of 10 over this course and distance last start. With luck in the running after jumping from the widest draw should be figuring in the top-three. REPETITION (7) is an unraced son of Twice Over from the Justin Snaith stable with Grant van Niekerk in the saddle. If not too green, he should give a good account of himself. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.
