Genuine tempo from Monter Jewel leading Daiei Bilberry. DAIEI BILBERRY (8) did a great job to score by 3 lengths over this course and distance when first-up from a spell last time out. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. MONTER JEWEL (9) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 3 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1200m at Funabashi after being in contention on the corner. Has raced three times at this course and distance and is yet to be beaten. Wada Joji gets the best out of this seven-year-old mare. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GOLD BOARD (10) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fifth over 800m at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. PYTHON (2) was beaten 38 lengths into eighth in a 1400m contest at this track at her latest appearance. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
