Solid tempo anticipated with Kitasan Epona leading the way. AIR SHALLOW (9) finished fifth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn over 1400m at Kawasaki. Going up a level this time but he can win again. DERMA KATASUKASHI (2) recorded her maiden win three back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when second at Funabashi. Ryo Kosugi stays on and although yet to win has been in the money on four occasions. Bold showing expected. TELEOS BOS (3) finished sixth at Funabashi over 1500m after being prominent at the turn. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better. KITASAN EPONA (6) also finished sixth over this track and trip a month ago. The engagement of Tsubasa Sasagawa is a positive move. Capable of featuring prominently.
