Tears Of Victory should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep her honest. VOGUISH (3) is creeping closer to hr first win, and she put the writing on the wall when finishing third as a short-priced favourite, following on from her similar placing in the Warstep Stakes in the turf here near the end of April. She gets her chance to set the record straight in this, so follow your money. TEARS OF VICTORY (4) set the pace here last start but folded up quickly in the run to the line. She has since switched stables to join Steven Woodsford, and with Tina Comignaghi picking up the ride, she can make amends. Stick with her on an each-way basis. TROUVAILLE (6) has recently relocated to the South Island, and he ran a couple of sound races on the Cambridge poly track earlier in the season. He cops a wide gate, but if he doesn't need the run, then he should be very competitive in this. Use the market as your best guide. NEW BEGINNING (8) won a trial before steaming home to finish second here when resuming from a spell. She has top 4 claims again off that run.
