Plenty of unraced runners engaged which muddies the map a little. It is fair to assume a solid tempo. BUFFALO KING CODY (2) was safely held fresh but fitter and has a good record here and at the trip. Expecting improvement and best figures measure up. Go well. TIGER MAGIC (13) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing a long neck from the winner in second over 1000m at Greyville. Just missed on debut and senior rider goes on. Has upside and another big run is likely. FIERCENESS (5) is on debut. By Hawwaam and hails from the Mike Mathew De Kock stable. Any push in betting should be respected. TENAREEF (10) is a two-year-old gelding on debut by Rafeef from Cantabella who has produced a high percentage of winners-to-runners.
