Good early pressure anticipated with a large contingent of first starters. ULFBERHT (6) is a gelding by Anders who debuts for the Griffiths yard. This doesn't look a particularly strong maiden and he's won a jumpout leading in. He's drawn well and won't need to be a superstar to be saluting first time of asking. VENATRIX (12) just found one better on debut when kept safe in betting at Mornington. She can only improve off that effort and looks a key chance. DONEBRAVO (3) has been thereabouts in two runs this time in and should be better for them. Each way. RECYCLE KING (2) got into the placings second up at Ararat off a solid showing fresh at Kyneton. Peaks now and will take holding out. INNER THOUGHTS (10) has been thereabouts in three runs this time in and should give a sight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Ulfberht.
