Tricky race to assess with a few of these facing the starter for the first time. Of the raced brigade MURKADO (6) was in the betting on debut at Eagle Farm but just ran into a couple better on that occasion. Should find this assignment a touch easier and where there's smoke there's fire. Rates the testing material. The well-related MOTIVATING (5) (half to Listed winner and G1 placed Statuario) just missed the frame in town on debut and will have taken a stack of benefit from that day at the races. Can get off the mark this time. WULFHERE (8) is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and must be respected out of the Munce barn. Include in calculations. COASTAL BOOM (3) resumes here but has tuned up for this with three solid trials and can run a big race while fresh. ALTO LUNA (1) next best with Maloney on board. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 6,5,8,3.
