A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run and rates a leading hope in this comparable race. SPIRIT KING (7) made a nice return at his latest appearance a week ago, finishing 17 metres away in third over 2030m here. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw. This should be an easier assignment so he is sure to prove tough to beat again. MISTER CHEESE (4) must be considered after he finished runner-up over 1609m at this circuit three weeks ago. Can earn some minor money. AUREUS (5) disappointed last time when ninth over 1720m at Penrith. Is much better than that and can turn things around.
