GOING: N

HELEN HEAD GRENADA PARK PACE 1690m

Track: GOOD

MAD PUNTA (8) is a consistent colt returning from a spell of four-and-a-half months. Last raced when he scored by 3 metres at Mildura, adding to a string of top-two finishes. Should enjoy a pretty soft run from this draw, with the sprint lane in play. Expect a strong return. EVILEYE (7) led and boxed on for third here last time. The driver has some work to do from this wider starting position but she should be close to peak fitness fourth-up. WINGATE GUY (12) worked last time but scored two back at Maryborough so can make an impact with even luck from the back row. WRITTEN IN SILK (2) draws well and is in the mix after a solid fourth at Ballarat last time out.
