Genuine tempo with the speedy Wolkenmeer and Meisho Hachiro matching motors. MEISHO HACHIRO (8) will find this a little easier than his second on debut three weeks ago, beaten 3.5 lengths at the end of 1800m at this track. Will benefit from that experience so he will prove tough to beat. THUNDER ROAD (3) is back from a spell of nine weeks. Closed last prep with a fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1800m at Fukushima. Sure to prove tough to stop. WOLKENMEER (4) was safely held on debut last start, finishing 10 lengths behind the winner in fourth over 1800m at this track. Will take a lot from that experience. One of the main contenders. MAVORS (6) has not raced since his debut back on June 8 when he finished sixth over 1600m at Kyoto. Should be thereabouts.
