He had plenty left up his sleeve that day and with the advantage of a good draw, he is the one to beat again. GREAT BARRIER REEF (1) won a trial before finishing last fresh up at Ipswich on a track that was too heavy for him. He showed his preference for a better surface when winning by over a length at the Sunshine Coast nearly 5 weeks ago and has also won a trial at Doomben since then.
