Strong early tempo with The Marg Factor and Our Empress Zoe leading the way over Lievore. LE MANS (4) made his Australian debut off an 11 month spell and hit the line beautifully at Caulfield over 1400m to grab third, beaten 0.6 lengths. Up in trip is ideal now, she just needs a good ride from a tricky draw. LIEVORE (7) is knocking on the door with back to back second placings, the latest at this track and trip. Can push forward and go close once more. WAIMARIE (1) is flying, winning three of her past four. Too good here latest, she'll be very hard to catch again. WRITTEN IN CODE (8) should be thereabouts though has been costly of late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Le Mans to win.
