Plenty of early pressure from Skylight Song and Desert Safari. SKYLIGHT SONG (3) brought strong form to the northeast and led and was much too good for the CL1 graders at Mt Isa when bet into a short quote. Has a handy 2kg claim today and has been kept on the fresh side. Rates to win again. BALDASSARE (1) disappointed at Aramac in a CL6 but he was beaten a nose at Dalby prior in a 65. That more than stacks up. Has to carry top weight but maps well and Whiteley is booked. SECRETLY BETTER (2) deserved the 60 win at Roma. Has a handy 2kg claim and the longer sprint shouldn't bother. EMME'S SECRET (6) wasn't far away at the SA provincials before winning a Maiden easily at Quorn. Has an awkward barrier but should be around the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Skylight Song.
