Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Voyage Samurai. PATCH OF COSMO (4) wasn't far away in the Derby following a strong run in the Classic Cup over this course and distance. Purton hops on board now and he's won aboard the gelding previously. Can sit closer than he has done in recent efforts and can get back to winning ways. WINNING WING (3) won well two back before tackling the G1 last start behind Romantic Warrior where he wasn't disgraced. He's had a couple of quiet trials coming into this and the drop in trip is no issue. Can get back to winning ways. SERAPH GABRIEL (13) wasn't far behind Patch Of Cosmo in the Derby when sitting up on the speed throughout, finishing 2.8L off the winner. Back to 1800m today doesn't look an issue and he meets Patch Of Cosmo better at the weights. Can make his presence felt. GENTLEMEN LEGACY (6) can bring up the hat-trick without surprising.
