Plenty of pressure on from the outset with some speedy types engaged in the good-sized field. BOND GIRL (11) drifted well back when resuming last start before winding up strongly to just miss when second over 1800m in the G3 Hokkaido Shimbun Hai Queen Stakes at Sapporo. Goes up a notch this time but should measure up. MI ANHELO (1) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 8 lengths away in 14th over 2400m in the G1 Yushun Himba (Japanese Oaks) at Tokyo on May 19 which was the only run of that prep. Has a strong record when resuming, including two wins. Best form puts her right in this. ERATO (7) is back from a ten-week break. Promising type who scored at her only two runs last prep, both over 1800m at Hakodate. Has the pace to settle in the leading division and is sure to be competitive. CHRISTMAS PARADE (6) is a handy type who resumes after a break of three months. Opened last prep with a win over 2200m at this track. Must be respected.
